i have to disagree on this topic. to me, cgpa is very important in a person's life as it determines one's future. grades or cgpa is the most important thing when you are studying at university level. if u achieved good grades or 4 flat cgpa, it will be easy for you to continue your studies. on the other hand, to those who get low cgpa, its harder for them and they might get kicked out of the university. once you have flunked out, your future might not look that good. cgpa also shows the level of achievement of students in their studies. students must work hard to maintain their good grades throughout the whole course of study. with good grades or excellent cgpa, it is easier for students to continue their studies at a higher level such as masters or phd, to continue their studies at top universities, a higher chance to get scholarships and easier for them to get a job once they have graduated. in conclusion, grades or cgpa is like a stepping stone in a person's life. good grades or cgpa will lead to a bright and successful future.
I totally agree with Suhail’s opinion. Obtain a good CGPA result is very important for our future. It will determine whether we will success in our life or not. With a good grade of CGPA which is 4 flat, it is easier for us to enter to our chosen university and it is easier for us to get full scholarship for our spending as a student. Other than that, CGPA also will determine the types of jobs that we will get when we have finished our study in university. A person with a high grade of CGPA will get a lot of jobs opportunity with high salary. That is why CGPA is very important to us. Absolutely I disagree with this statement because CGPA or grade is the most important and even glorious thing especially for the students. In fact, it's not the easy way for those students to get an excellent CGPA'S result which they need to compete with the other students who also want to get high CGPA'S result, so it can encourage the students to work hard to get an excellent result and even can ensure the student to get many advantage for their future. This is because the grades/CGPA shows the students performance in school or university, so not only excellent in school or university you can success in your life. For example, let's say after graduation, you are excellent in study but naturally you are a human that lazy, dishonest, bad attitude, and mess. i am certainly disagree with the statement that the grades/CGPA does not determine our future. this is because, nowadays, all universities in Malaysia practicing this kind of grading system to show students' performance through the semester. It is also has been used in certain secondary school for same purpose. Clearly, it is a good system and benchmark to measure the student's outcome in examination. In order to pass through exam and pursue our study in the best university either inside country or abroad, we must score a great pointer. In addition, great pointer determine our direction and career afterwards. The benchmark is 4 flat which has already been a goal for students. Hence, it is a good motivation as well for students to perform well in exam. So, the usage of CGPA grading system is a good thing to be practicing in order to measure student's performance in examination.
There's a story about student who always not perform better in every examinations.He likes to procastinate works that given by lecturer.Until one critical moments,he feel clumsy because many works does not completely settle.He is not realise that he is studying at final semester of degree,because before that he always not take serious in study and leisure time to play and enjoy.He starts to think about his future if he continuous doing bad attitude such that.So,he changes his attitude to cover all the missing chapters in every subjects.There is a big changes occur which is he study more harder,manage time effectively to do works,do exercises and so on.Alhamdulillah,he passes with flying colours but the total CGPA is not enough to achieve his ambitions to be chemical engineer.This is because chemical engineers is choosen based on excellent CGPA.Now,he still waiting for any jobs that suitable with his courses.As a final considerations,CGPA is important to determine bright future and to achieve somethings that we needs.I totally disagree with that statements which says CGPA does not determine our future.If the CGPA is not important,why the university calculated CGPA for students?For me CGPA is very vital to have better carreers.

The grades/CGPA does not determine our future because we will determine ourselves on what future will be or will happen. It depends on our initiatives and our strong-minded to achieve our goal for our future. Besides that, we need a lot of experience to determine our future. I totally agree with the statement. CGPA does not determine our future. It is just a way to see our study progress. If you got 4.00, but you did not have soft skill, it’s useless. Nowadays, all the bosses want to hire a good worker. Not even in study but in soft skill too. So, if you go for interview and they see you are lacking of soft skill. Do you think they will hire you? Yes, I agree with the statement but I’m not saying that students don’t have to work hard to get the highest CGPA they can achieve. You still have to try the best as you can then you will have a lot of opportunities in front of you to get a good job. CGPA not a guarantee for you to have a bright future even though you get 4.00 flat result. It is because they are many university’s leavers with excellent CGPA around you. For me, I disagree with the topic. Why? Well, firstly if we reflect back the situation to ourselves, as a university student , CGPA plays an important role to determine our future. This is because, with great CGPA we can get more scholarship offers. Whether to extend our study in the local or overseas university. Nowadays everything want to use meritocracy, if you want to enter a university you need good merit point, if you want to further study to higher level also you need a good merit point which basically based on your CGPA. A excel CGPA may determine your place in university, determine your position when to get a work but not necessarily determine a good future life. The simple idea I want to tell you is both good and bad CGPA not surely can bring great future ahead, it in fact based on your effort in time to time. Students with good result, it show that they are strive well and know their goals, it might lead them to easy life afterward. But for unsuccessful student their might start with hardship in their life but they still have a chance to make a different, like I said just now your life is depends on your efforts in time to time. yes, I really agree with that statement.."The grades/CGPA does not determine your future". why I say that..?? firstly, as we know, nowaday, there are too many students studying in university,whether it is local university, college, or other else.so, it's means that there is many challenges among the students to compete in exam or test to get best grades/CGPA. thus, what can i say here is whether there is a student get the best CGPA, it's doesn't mean that he/she can determine his/her future.some people said.. I am totally agree with the statement. We can't simply judge student's performance through their CGPA because they have work so hard to excel in their study. If their CGPA is low, what will happen to their future? Will their study for all these years be in vain? If someone asking me about my opinion about the statement "the grades/CGPA does not determine your future", I will not agree. Why I am disagreed is influences by many reasons. One of the reasons that I can provide is the CGPA is actually not just measure our level of intelligent but also measure our attitude. For example, some of the mark considered in our engineering foundation CGPA is our attitude in experiment lab. If we come late, some mark will be deducted. SAme goes when we are at work. If we come late, surely the boss will had to fired us. This CGPA system will help to fix our habit and improve our intelligent as well. Besides, we can keep on trying to improve our grade in CGPA. CGPA is indicate to measure the people performance in university. here i want to share a story about CGPA. my super senior at MARA junior science college said they won't accept local student with CGPA below than 3.75 to work with their company. He is one of the member of interviewer team from human resource of that company, but sorry, i din't remember the name of the company, but what i know, it is the big and good company. maybe some people thinking about the soft skill. the relationship between soft skill and CGPA is, the soft skill is the element in the calculation of CGPA. maybe some people those who disagree about it thinking about the cgpa in their college. for MJSC students, we have use it, but it totally different in university. in university, the cgpa is not the calculate based your performance in examinations only but it including all. it overall including your communication skill, group work and other elements. did you noticed that, we need to do the presentation. what the function of our presentation, its not only just the task. But its the time for lecturer to see how we talk in front the audience. it about the communication skill. about this topic. we as the engineering student are different with the management students. they need to have good communication skill. yes, some the management student didn't performance well is SPM. as many my friends, they not performance well is their SPM and they took the management field. business.they no need to remember all the theories in science. and they score at university. that why i said, CGPA is the things that the employee see when you apply the work. the people who have the good cgpa, they have the good soft skill. We must remember that CGPA is just only the indication of our achievement in university only but when we are working in future, CGPA will not be considered more. university lives and work lives are totally different. when we are working, we must use all the skills that are truly come out from ourselves not the theory. in conclusion, CGPA does not determine our future career. we are what we want to be.
I am totally agree with this statement because grades or CGPA does not determine our future but it only determine the level of our ability in certain parts. CGPA stands for cumulative grade point average that use in university make students to give out all their effort to get highest pointer which is 4.0 or 4 flat.The pointer does not determine our future because if he/ she get higher CGPA and get opportunity to attend the interview session but he/she do not have any communication skills during the sessions then it is possible to him/her to grab that chance.Next, CGPA also put students under depression.It is very common thing among students while they need to maintain or get higher pointer than before meanwhile they also need to finish their assignment before dateline.This situation make students more oppressed and can tend students to do the thing that can destroy their life such as commit suicide. This is because the better the grades or CGPA of a student, the better the impression that he or she will leave on an employer. For example, imagine two applicants applying for a job, both, are hardworking, have excellent communications skills and excel in their co-curricular activities, yet, the first one have moderate, say, a 2.8 CGPA pointer, the second on the other hand, hold a brilliant academic record with a 4.0 CGPA pointer, ask yourself; would a sensible employer even look twice at the first student's resume? I agree with this topic, this is because CGPA will determine our future mostly in our career. CGPA is calculated based on our performance in our whole degree or study in university. Thus,this CGPA will diffrentiate you and other people. I do not agree with the topic discussion that the grades/CGPA does not determine our future since it is important for us to further our studies in degree level therefore success in our future with a good job. By achieving a higher grade, oppurtunities do come flowing at us. Most companies that are hiring fresh graduates would want to take only those that excel academically. When applicants appear the same - no working experience, same course of study, same age group, the easiest filtering system is to weed out those that do not meet a certain CGPA point. In short, we must score our examinations and pass with flying colours in order to achieve a good grade/CPA that enable us to apply for our dream job. I do not agree because the CGPA shows the performance of a student. CGPA also determine whether a person is selected to continue their studies in a good course or not. if CGPA is not good, of course they could not pursue their study in course that they want. hence, they will be less interested to study as they are disappointed and it will destroy their future.hence, for sure they are difficult to get jobs,so if they do not have job, how about their future.another reason is if they want to apply for scholarships, CGPA also among the factors taken into account. if CGPA is low, then they will not be shortlisted to be called for interview. as the conclusion, I do not agree with these stetement.

i have to disagree on this topic. to me, cgpa is very important in a person's life as it determines one's future. grades or cgpa is the most important thing when you are studying at university level. if u achieved good grades or 4 flat cgpa, it will be easy for you to continue your studies. on the other hand, to those who get low cgpa, its harder for them and they might get kicked out of the university. once you have flunked out, your future might not look that good. cgpa also shows the level of achievement of students in their studies. students must work hard to maintain their good grades throughout the whole course of study. with good grades or excellent cgpa, it is easier for students to continue their studies at a higher level such as masters or phd, to continue their studies at top universities, a higher chance to get scholarships and easier for them to get a job once they have graduated. in conclusion, grades or cgpa is like a stepping stone in a person's life. good grades or cgpa will lead to a bright and successful future.
I totally agree with Suhail’s opinion. Obtain a good CGPA result is very important for our future. It will determine whether we will success in our life or not. With a good grade of CGPA which is 4 flat, it is easier for us to enter to our chosen university and it is easier for us to get full scholarship for our spending as a student. Other than that, CGPA also will determine the types of jobs that we will get when we have finished our study in university. i am certainly disagree with the statement that the grades/CGPA does not determine our future. this is because, nowadays, all universities in Malaysia practicing this kind of grading system to show students' performance through the semester. It is also has been used in certain secondary school for same purpose. Clearly, it is a good system and benchmark to measure the student's outcome in examination. In order to pass through exam and pursue our study in the best university either inside country or abroad, we must score a great pointer. In addition, great pointer determine our direction and career afterwards. The benchmark is 4 flat which has already been a goal for students. Hence, it is a good motivation as well for students to perform well in exam. So, the usage of CGPA grading system is a good thing to be practicing in order to measure student's performance in examination.

Yes, I agree with the statement but I’m not saying that students don’t have to work hard to get the highest CGPA they can achieve. You still have to try the best as you can then you will have a lot of opportunities in front of you to get a good job. firstly, as we know, nowaday, there are too many students studying in university,whether it is local university, college, or other else.so, it's means that there is many challenges among the students to compete in exam or test to get best grades/CGPA. thus, what can i say here is whether there is a student get the best CGPA, it's doesn't mean that he/she can determine his/her future.some people said.. "if we get high CGPA, we can apply for a scholoarship.." yes it's true.. BUT for me, we only just can apply fot it.. NOT sure that we can get it.. because there is too many students hope for the scholarship.. secondly, same to hazlin said.. I am totally agree with the statement. We can't simply judge student's performance through their CGPA because they have work so hard to excel in their study. If their CGPA is low, what will happen to their future? Will their study for all these years be in vain? If someone asking me about my opinion about the statement "the grades/CGPA does not determine your future", I will not agree. Why I am disagreed is influences by many reasons. One of the reasons that I can provide is the CGPA is actually not just measure our level of intelligent but also measure our attitude. For example, some of the mark considered in our engineering foundation CGPA is our attitude in experiment lab. If we come late, some mark will be deducted. SAme goes when we are at work. If we come late, surely the boss will had to fired us. This CGPA system will help to fix our habit and improve our intelligent as well. Besides, we can keep on trying to improve our grade in CGPA. If you don’t work hard, you wouldn’t get promoted or even worst you get fired from the company. That then will make your future a failure. Therefore, I strongly agree that grades/CGPA does not determine my future.
Indeed,i'm totally agree with this topic. Like what had been mention by sanusi, CGPA only examine students performance based on the theories. In the real world experiences and ability to solve problem in real time is more important than CGPA. Besides that the public relation skill is also important in the world we live in. Most of the student nowadays do not have this skill because they are too busy with their study and forgot to communicate with others.
I agree with this statement. This is because the grades / CGPA is a symbol of our success at the university.The high grade/CGPA does not mean that we will succeed in life. The situation in the working world is not same like university. At university we only need to memorize and understand what is being taught by lecturers, but when we get into the working world what is important is the skill we have. For example a person that learn how to build a house is not necessarily able to build a house.To success we should apply the knowledge that we have learn. Next we also need to have a good communication skills.The high grades / CGPA does not mean we are able to communicate with a variety of people when we working.Thats all from me. Thank you.
CGPA not determine your future????i totally disagree. CGPA is indicate to measure the people performance in university. here i want to share a story about CGPA. my super senior at MARA junior science college said they won't accept local student with CGPA below than 3.75 to work with their company. He is one of the member of interviewer team from human resource of that company, but sorry, i din't remember the name of the company, but what i know, it is the big and good company. maybe some people thinking about the soft skill. the relationship between soft skill and CGPA is, the soft skill is the element in the calculation of CGPA. maybe some people those who disagree about it thinking about the cgpa in their college. for MJSC students, we have use it, but it totally different in university. in university, the cgpa is not the calculate based your performance in examinations only but it including all. it overall including your communication skill, group work and other elements. did you noticed that, we need to do the presentation. what the function of our presentation, its not only just the task. But its the time for lecturer to see how we talk in front the audience. it about the communication skill. about this topic. we as the engineering student are different with the management students. they need to have good communication skill. yes, some the management student didn't performance well is SPM. as many my friends, they not performance well is their SPM and they took the management field. business.they no need to remember all the theories in science. and they score at university. that why i said, CGPA is the things that the employee see when you apply the work. the people who have the good cgpa, they have the good soft skill. I agreed with the statement....the CGPA / high grade in university is not an indicator for someone to success in real life..For example in the business area,people with a low CGPA can also success if they have excellent communication skills...They do not need a lot of science knowledge in order to success in future...a family does not need a high CGPA to make the family happy..
I'm sorry to say that i have to disagree about the statement that state the grades/CGPA does not determine your future. The reason why i am disagree with the statement is because i think that the grade/CGPA is one of the ways that can we use to determine our performance in our life.Another reason why i disagree with that statement is the best system to find a person that have the best perfomance . This is true because failure in university does not necessarily mean failure in life. One who thrives and has the mental toughness can bounce back from a certain disaster to become influential people in the world. Just ask Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg, Harvard dropouts and biliionaires. This means that good grades in university does not determine one's future.
i'm agree with this statement.the grades/CGPA totally does not determine our future.it is because a high grades/CGPA does not show that the person is truly a successful student.there are many factor that related to the person cgpa.that person also might coincidentally get that high cgpa.who knows.??..so,cgpa cannot determine our future.there are also various choice for us to make our future better, not only with a higher cgpa.one of it to have a business.all of our future actually depend on ourselves on how we colour it.experience is more important for our life to get a better future.it clearly means that better cgpa in university not determine our future.
i am agree with this statement. this is because lack in university does not show the end of our life. who said fail to success in university means we cannot become successful person for the future? just take a look of Albert Einstein, the genius person in this world. his teacher had said that he will not achieve any success in his life because of his low IQ power but he had proof that all his teacher's words towards him are totally wrong. he had become the most genius person in this world. all his books had being made the rivision of all the professional man especially doctors. this show that we can also become a successful guy although we are not excellent during our past time likes university time. there are many ways to improve our achievement instead of CGPA. maybe the person who get lower CGPA will become an employer of an oraganization while the one who get higher CGPA will become a employee of that company. who knows? I am totally agree with this statement because grades or CGPA does not determine our future but it only determine the level of our ability in certain parts. CGPA stands for cumulative grade point average that use in university make students to give out all their effort to get highest pointer which is 4.0 or 4 flat.The pointer does not determine our future because if he/ she get higher CGPA and get opportunity to attend the interview session but he/she do not have any communication skills during the sessions then it is possible to him/her to grab that chance.Next, CGPA also put students under depression.It is very common thing among students while they need to maintain or get higher pointer than before meanwhile they also need to finish their assignment before dateline.This situation make students more oppressed and can tend students to do the thing that can destroy their life such as commit suicide. Hence, CGPA does not determine our future essentially.
I disagree with the statement that grades or cumulative grade point average i.e. CGPA does not determine a student's future. This is because the better the grades or CGPA of a student, the better the impression that he or she will leave on an employer. For example, imagine two applicants applying for a job, both, are hardworking, have excellent communications skills and excel in their co-curricular activities, yet, the first one have moderate, say, a 2.8 CGPA pointer, the second on the other hand, hold a brilliant academic record with a 4.0 CGPA pointer, ask yourself; would a sensible employer even look twice at the first student's resume? Yes, other aspects such as communication skills are also taken in consideration; however, the assessment of the academic pointers degraded the first student's chance for getting the applied job. These days, it had become a very competitive world out there, where academic pointers such as CGPA and grades are the first thing that will be appraised about a person. It is no longer a place where it is appropriate for a university student to dream of a well-paying job with a barely good academic pointer. Moreover, university students could be expelled if their academic pointer does not meet their university's required standards. An expelled record will without doubt affect a student's future. Therefore in my opinion, good grades or high CGPA are vital for a bright future. I agree with this topic, this is because CGPA will determine our future mostly in our career. CGPA is calculated based on our performance in our whole degree or study in university. Thus,this CGPA will diffrentiate you and other people. For example, when you get better marks from other even the diffrent of pointer is 0.1, this make you better then other people, this is because the CGPA is calculate in whole of your study. The small changes shows a big different.The other reason is other careers needs CGPA point to allow student to work in it. For example the medical career need a excelent result of grade. So, the people who want to be a doctor will perform their best throughout the study. But if he fail in a certain examination he will perform in other examination, thus he will raise his marks based on the average of his examination marks. I do not agree with the topic discussion that the grades/CGPA does not determine our future since it is important for us to further our studies in degree level therefore success in our future with a good job. By achieving a higher grade, oppurtunities do come flowing at us. Most companies that are hiring fresh graduates would want to take only those that excel academically. When applicants appear the same - no working experience, same course of study, same age group, the easiest filtering system is to weed out those that do not meet a certain CGPA point. In short, we must score our examinations and pass with flying colours in order to achieve a good grade/CPA that enable us to apply for our dream job. In final consideration, I do believe that the grades/CGPA does determine our future.
I do not agree because the CGPA shows the performance of a student. CGPA also determine whether a person is selected to continue their studies in a good course or not. if CGPA is not good, of course they could not pursue their study in course that they want. hence, they will be less interested to study as they are disappointed and it will destroy their future.hence, for sure they are difficult to get jobs,so if they do not have job, how about their future.another reason is if they want to apply for scholarships, CGPA also among the factors taken into account. if CGPA is low, then they will not be shortlisted to be called for interview. as the conclusion, I do not agree with these stetement.
In my point of view,i'm totally agree with the statement that grades/CGPA does not determine our future.Not everything that we've study in the university will fully be applied in our career.For better future life,person should shows better performance at their workplace.For this,all they need is commitment and their grades/CGPA does not help at all.There is no evidence shows that when a person got high grades/CGPA,they will get brighter future.Besides,the course that we study in university are only theory,and in the career world,the application to the work are totally different.Last but not least,although all of the above comments disagree with the topic,i will not change my opinion.For me,even though a person got higher grades/CGPA and have the opportunities to choose his or her own career,are we confident enough that the person will be committed with the work?.^_^
